I am one of those lucky people who are allowed to do their hobby in the work place. I work in Information Technology. My job involves network design and administration, database design and programming, web design and maintenance etc. So, it's a lot of nerdy business as my wife would say.

Having said that, I am fairly new in this field and I have to work hard to keep up with new technologies and new demands they bring. This suits me well though, as I like challenges and finding solutions to problems. My best friend is the Internet on this matter. It is vast and full of information.
